Tendens Design Fair 2019

For the Tendens exhibition, I was commissioned to interpret the theme “Nordic Styling for Him & Her”. My approach was to create a cohesive, gender-neutral space that celebrates the core of Nordic design: simplicity, minimalism, and a deep respect for high-quality, sustainable materials.

The Vision The concept was built around a balanced interior that speaks to both masculine and feminine sensibilities without leaning on stereotypes. By focusing on a shared appreciation for craftsmanship and longevity, I curated an environment that felt both personal and universal.

Materiality & Sustainability True to the Nordic heritage, the material palette was carefully selected to highlight sustainability and tactile quality. I combined warm wood, natural stone, and organic textiles to create a layered minimalism a stillness that feels alive and inviting.

My Role:
Creative Interpretation: Translating the "Him & Her" brief into a physical interior concept.
Curation: Selecting furniture and objects that represent the best of sustainable Nordic design.
